To be a part of Lobby Day 2015 and to have the resolutions go to the floor for vote was exciting to observe. The Senate gallery continued to transform with more and more lobby day participants... the purple was scattered about at first and soon the majority in the gallery were silently showing their support to end DMST with their purple scarves and/ or shirts. Many of us sat, prayed, and listened as Senator Renee Unterman started to present SR 7 to the other senators present. Then other Senators stood in "the well" to share their words of praise for Senator Unterman's leading the charge, support for SR 7 and encouraged others to also vote in favor of the resolution.
