Thank you for your donations and prayers! It felt like a crazy idea to be going to Guatemala a few days after I graduated and coming home just before Christmas...but I am so glad for the time I spent there. God blessed it and it made the Christmas season so special for me. I went to Guatemala City, Guatemala on December 17th with a group of 6 people from Stonecreek Church in Georgia. We stayed at City of Hope, which is where the ministries of Hope for Guatemala take place. Hope for Guatemala is an organization that helps to break the cycle of poverty and gives hope for children who live in Zone 18 of Guatemala City. We helped to serve breakfast and lunch on the week days that we were there. Being welcomed by the kids and older leaders who work there was so amazing. I received a few sweet cards from the teenage girls who go to Hope for Guatemala and also serve by teaching the younger kids and loving them. We spent a lot of time not only serving the kids food but playing with them. Whether we were jumping on the trampoline, playing soccer, or swinging, each person in our group was surrounded by their own "posse" of kids who loved our attention! Th
